Dear Families,

Welcome to McDonald Green Elementary! The faculty and staff join me in saying we are happy to have you as part of our MGE family. We know this will be a successful and satisfying year for you. The top priorities at MGE are student safety and learning. We believe all of our children can and will learn and achieve at high levels. Our goals are to ensure that all students have a safe and nurturing environment in which to learn and to offer the structure and support they need to do their best.

We feel that open and clear communication between school and home is important to the success of our education program. The mission of McDonald Green Elementary School is the development of responsible, independent learners who value diversity and the arts. In order to achieve success, we use a common language that is the core of our school. Here at McDonald Green, we will RISE UP and soar high with the Dragonflies!
