Please note: If you elected to pay by cash or check, we have not started to accept those payments. You can pay via cash, check (with SC address ONLY in the recepient's address!) or card in our front office at Open House, or once the school year has started.
Our staff is working hard to get ready to welcome back our Warriors- updating information, getting rooms ready, preparing for Open House and more. Today, we also indulged in some bonding time off campus! Check out our Admin, Counselors and Support Staff members swinging their clubs like pros (🤔😁) at the Leadership Team meeting!
It wasn’t just fun and games, as they also held a meeting to discuss goals and plans for the year ahead. We are thinking big and dreaming bigger than ever before, and can’t wait to see you all at Open House on 8/8!

We want to shout out Keagan Lam for his beautiful artwork on the 23'-24' ILIS yearbook! Unfortunately his name wasn’t in the yearbook and we wanted to make sure he got credit for his hard work. We held a contest at the beginning of the year to search for the design, and his was chosen!

Today is the LAST DAY to grab medications from the nurse's station! Any medication that is not picked up will be destroyed. Our office is open from 7:35am to 3:35pm. Thank you!
Remember how we said today was the best day in the last post?! Well our 6th Graders agree, because not only did they have their field day, but they had it at Anne Springs! And after what is basically the most incredible 2 hour recess, they came back to campus to eat their lunch and enjoy Kona Ice! You can check out our Facebook page for more photos!

Today was the BEST Day…5th Grade FIELD DAY! After a stormy night, we had perfect warm weather and sunny skies as 5th graders made their way through the stations on the Baseball field. Everyone had big smiles, especially after their attempts to run after dizzy bat. It was epic. We want to thank our teachers, PTO and volunteers for all the hard work they put into planning this event for our Warriors. We couldn’t have done it without them! Dear Parents and Community Members,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the last three years. I have been honored to be the Principal of Indian Land Intermediate School, and truly enjoyed my time here. We have not only transformed a building and environment, but have continued to grow both our staff and students.
At the conclusion of this school year I will no longer be serving as Principal of ILIS. I am moving into the Principal role at Indian Land Elementary. My tenure here has been such a highlight in my career in education. I am excited for the new adventure ahead and I am happy to continue to serve the Lancaster County School District.

It's almost the end of the school year! If your student has medication in the nurse's station, please be advised that it must be picked up by a parent or guardian no later than May 29th. Any medications not picked up will be properly destroyed.

Friday Night Lights starts in just a few hours! While doors open at 5pm, the action will get really get going when games start at 6pm! Not only has PTO planned a fun game of dodgeball, art tables to make signs, and brought in some awesome prizes you can win in a raffle, but they also lined up some delicious food trucks. Be sure to come by and make some great memories as we wind up the school year!

Beginning this summer, LCSD will phase out our current email/call communication system, Blackboard Connect. It will be replaced with Apptegy Alerts. Be on the lookout for communication from this new system and do not "delete" or "unsubscribe." Remember, this communication is from the school and the district, and lots of important information is shared through this email/call system.
