The LHS library staff has opened a STAFF Brain Break Room. The purpose of this space is to boost creativity, reduce mental fatigue, increase productivity and motivation, and improve overall health and well-being. Staff members are encouraged to take brief breaks (10-15 minutes) so they can recharge and refocus, leave all work-related conversations (no “shop” talk), resources, and technology in their classrooms/offices, and build positive connections with colleagues over a puzzle or game.

Our English III theme for the year is "The American Dream." Last week, our English III scholars created personal SMART goals, conducted SWOT analyses, and devised action plans to meet their SMART goals. Today, Founders Federal Credit Union Financial Adviser Stacey Adams shared information with students on creating SMART financial goals and establishing/maintaining good credit. THANK YOU, STACEY ADAMS, for sharing this info with our scholars. We appreciate you.

Chromebook Insurance - Our newest Chromebook orders have multi-year accidental coverage for incidentals. For that reason, we NO LONGER ask families to purchase Chromebook insurance, as the repairs are covered under warranty at no cost to the student or district. Schools CHARGE for lost Chromebooks/chargers and malicious damage, as insurance does NOT cover these incidents.
