Mr. Heyward provided members of the Ambush Club a Financial Literacy class on the 50% (needs), 30% (wants), 20% (savings and investing) plan, a strategy on how to break down gross pay that’s budget friendly. This session also focused on the importance of starting solid savings and investing habits at their age to properly prepare for retirement, and reach their short and long term goals. Thank you to Camp Creek United Methodist Church for sponsoring our meal today, we are forever grateful for your local community outreach! To any other Lancaster business or individuals that would like to donate to the Ambush Club to keep events like this one going, please click on our QR code below. We have a few days remaining for our Vertical Raiser fundraiser. Thank you!

We are pleased to announce Addy Sepanski as the October Student of the Month! She is in the Automotive Technology program.
Also we are starting something new to honor and recognize all students who are nominated for Student of the Month. It is our Director's List. Here's a little more information on how this works. Each teacher has the opportunity to nominate a student each month to be considered for Student of the Month. The nomination form includes a brief reason why the teacher is nominating that student. The nominations are then reviewed by Mr. Miller and the leadership team and a selection is made for Student of the Month. Beginning next month the Director's List will be published earlier in the month to give all students a chance to be recognized before the Student of the Month is announce!

Students in Mr. Heyward’s Law Enforcement class researched different careers in the Corrections career field and delivered their presentations! The students also researched additional information about Correctional Officers (CO) and what other specialties COs can branch out into after serving their basic duties as a guard. The students created posters to display in the halls. Way to go Law Enforcement students!

Breast cancer is a challenging disease that affects millions of individuals and their families, but the strength and resilience shown by survivors is truly inspiring. In a heartfelt gesture, students like Maizy Fritz contribute to this cause by presenting Mrs. George-Miller and Ms. Cauthen with beautiful flowers to honor those who have battled breast cancer, symbolizing the love and appreciation for their courage.

Students in Ms. Baker's marketing class learned about past brands and businesses! They had to research basic information about the business and what led to its downfall! Afterwards they created a ghost and tombstone for each business to display in the hall!
